At Karma, we believe in hard work. If it doesn’t challenge you, then it doesn’t change you. We use cardio and strength classes to keep you well rounded in your training for the optimal results. Those are the 2 types of fitness training that every person needs in order to live a healthy optimal life. Cardio will help you be able to walk up stairs without getting winded or even run a half marathon with Karma Run Club! Strength training will help build muscle (which everyone needs more of) so that you can achieve that toned look, increase metabolism, and perform activities of daily living easier- hint all the groceries in one trip! A lot of gyms try to combine both of these training styles into a single class, at Karma you will see results and improvements much faster by separating and focusing on a specific class each day.
Our strength workouts are programmed for you to build upon and see yourself get stronger over time. Every few months we do a Benchmark Week where we record your weight and reps with the main exercises that you see in classes.
The boxing classes are always different! There is no set number of rounds or timeframe that we use, so your class is never the same. Some days we practice more defense, or do a lot of mitt work, or go through a conditioning circuit. You will always be challenged in new ways through the cardio boxing classes and feel the confidence of being able to defend yourself.
